Formwell · a free document-style form builder

Unlimited forms. Unlimited responses. Free.

Write your questions as lines, publish one link, and read every answer as a row. No cap on the forms you start and no cap on the answers a published form collects.

Forms: Unlimited · Responses per form: Unlimited. That is the plan a new account starts on, not a trial of it.

A response, as it arrives

Northwind rebrand

Sent from the published link, 09:41.

  • What is the project called?Northwind rebrand
  • Where should we reply?ada@northwind.co
  • How many people are on the team?6
  • Describe the work you need help with.A new mark, a type pairing and a one-page site for the March launch.

One row per visitor, every answer against the question it belongs to.

Why unlimited matters

A response cap does not fail politely. It fails on the week the form works.

The form you send to forty people and the form you send to four hundred are the same form. Nothing about it changes between the two: no ceiling to raise mid-launch, no answers held back behind a plan, no second version to keep in step.

  • Start a new form for every client, brief or round of feedback — the count does not run down.
  • Send the link as widely as the work needs; the responses view keeps up.
  • Read every answer as a row, in the order it arrived, and copy it out.

The editor

A form is a page of questions, not a stack of fields.

Type the questions the way you would write them in a brief. Formwell reads the wording of each line and picks the answer block that fits — a number for “how many”, a paragraph for “describe”. Change any block you disagree with.

Templates

Ready-made forms, open to anyone.

A template is a finished first draft: the questions, the hints under them, the answer type for each one and the choice lists already written.

Free and paid

Free carries the whole job. Two plans change two things.

  • Unlimited forms and unlimited responses, with no expiry date on either.
  • Every input type, every template, and the responses view on every form.
  • The Formwell line at the foot of each published page.

The two plans take that line off the page and lift what a form can collect. Nothing else about the builder moves: same editor, same templates, same rows of answers.
